Confused?
Today is Towel Day. Don't forget your towel!
Towel Day is an annual celebration on the 25th of May, as a tribute to the late author Douglas Adams (1952-2001). On that day, fans around the universe proudly carry a towel in his honour.
Please join us in this very worthwhile celebration
Tell the world about Towel Day! Blog about it, tweet, post in forums and on social sites, share a link in Facebook... the more we are the merrier. If you plan celebrations with friends and are open to other participants, we suggest creating a Facebook event.
This just in: Twitter users have the #towelday hashcode at their disposal (thanks Wonko the Sane)
On Towel Day, carry a towel! Where? Everywhere!
Why not show the world you've observed Towel Day? Upload a picture or video to Flickr (most popular - latest) or YouTube (most relevant - latest). Tag your picture with "towelday" and add it to the Towel Day group. And remember: this year you can win prizes if you enter your picture in the Pan Macmillan Towel Day competition.
